Does anyone have experience of changing a Company's Base Currency once that company is up and running in Lx? We have a company whose Base Currency we would like to change. They are fairly new to the system, so if it is possible it seems like a good time to do it before they really get motoring.
In Company Maintenance it IS possible to change the base currency, but there are warnings about historical data being in the old currency.
I know there are many files where a transaction-to-base exchange rate is written. Is it possible to change the rate on these files from the transaction-to-old base to the transaction-to-new base?
All sounds like it could be fraught with problems - has anyone done it and have any advice?
We are on ERP Lx 8.3.2.
