Hi,

We are using Ver 8.2. I wanted to know how to set the freight and discount
in customer order and its finance effect.

For example in case of discount :

Particulars Qty Rate Amount

Item No 10.00 100.00 1,000.00

Discount@10% 100.00

Net 900.00

VAT 150.00

Invoice Value 1,050.00

In the above transaction my model should resolve the Basic amount should go
to sales or revenue GL account and the discount part should go to discount
GL account. I have set the discount calculation from PRO140 but the basic
systems captures the basic amount directly as INR 900 ie net of discount but
I want it should go to separate GL accounts as mentioned above. Ie INR 1000
should go to sales /Revenue GL account and INR 100 should go to Discount GL
Account.

Thanks / regards.

Rajesh Kaamath

I have had about 20 years BPCS experience from V3 to the current version 8.3
FP3
Can you describe to me what you want to do and what version you are running?
