WCUSA represents the total of soft allocations - for unshipped customer orders plus unissued parts in incomplete shop orders. We have found that with a very large number of transactions being processed this field total sometimes gets out of synch, and have a single-part number version of INV971 to reset it one part number at a time. We have also seen that this doesn't get updated some times when an adjustment is made to shop order component required quantities.

Subject: [BPCS-L] IWI/WCUSA

Hi All,

I'm using BPCS 6.1.00
Does anybody know where IWI/WCUSA comes from ..?
I mean which files/ fields have relation with IWI/WCUSA.

I find that BPCS has a program (INV971) to reset WCUSA.
Is this program really needed to run once in a month ?

Thank in advance.
Regards,
- Indah
