BPCS 8.3 Serialization


We are installing ERP LX 8.3 and need to determine the best course of
action to take for serialization of our products. We currently have a home
grown program that is not compatible with LX and it would take significant
amount of programming to develop. We were shown how to use " Containers" as
the format for serialization within LX but the required involvement with
inventory movement would add too much time on the floor. How have past 8.3
implementations addressed the serialization issue?
