We have the same set up as you describe. We have had no issues at all.

Sorry I can't be more specific. I just know it works.

[BPCS-L] warehouse facility set-ups

BPCS 6.1 heavily modified (but not in manufacturing).

In our infinite 1998 wisdom, we set up a warehouse that is both a
manufacturing area and a shipping warehouse. It points to the same
facility.

Someone mentioned that it is an incorrect setup.

We have not been using planning data in the warehouse to our full
advantage but are planning to do so. Our fear is that we will have
problems when we start using the planning data.

Has anyone used a manufacturing warehouse and shipping warehouse for the
same facility? If so, has it created issues? Please expound.

Thanks.
