Has anyone ran ANZOBJCVN yet against their BPCS code?

Prior to loading V6R1 of i5/OS you should run ANZOBJCVN to see if your
code will continue to work on V6R1. This is VERY comparable to the
CISC-to-RISC upgrade done years ago. A lot of code will be ok if:
- the "observability" was not removed from the program
- or IF the observability was removed, it was compiled to a target release
no lower than V5R1.
However I ran ANZOBJCVN against BPCS405CD and ERPLX 8.3 and they have both
blown. Funny thing is, if their website says they only support certain
versions of i5/os then why do very recent BMR's sometimes get compiled
down to V4R5?

For more details on ANZOBJCVN, which is available via ptf's for V5R3 and
V5R4, then check out:

I suggest contacting your Infor representative and requesting a copy of
code that passes ANZOBJCVN.
