Glen:

Yes your shipment charges will continue to print on customer invoices.
Dispatch program will create an ECS line which will gets printed on the
invoice with out creating service POs upon below changes in carrier
master.

Try this on your test system first. We are using this on our production
environment for more than 4 years. If you have any further question you
can contact me via phone or email off line?

Sumit

We need freight charge on the customer invoice. Just don't want it to
print the PO.
Will it do this if we remove from carrier master?

Thanks,

Re: [BPCS-L] BPCS-L Digest, Vol 5, Issue 182

Glen: Yes you can do that. we are on V8.1 We have quite a few shipment
charges setup without generating service POs.

We don't setup freight charge code and commodity code within carrier
master to not generate service POs for corresponding shipment charges.

subject: [BPCS-L] OLM Freight charge creating Service PO in AP

We are currently on LX version 8.3.1. We are looking for a way to stop
service PO from generating in AP for orders with freight charges
dispatched through OLM module? Is there a way to prevent PO's from
generating?
