Norman,
You don't mention what version of BPCS you are on - but all versions have
integration modules available for interfacing with EDI transactions.

In version 4.0.05 and older the module to purchase from SSA (now Infor) was
called EDIPath and it supported inbound/oubound PO's and invoices. Other
types of transactions could be added via user interfaces.

In version 6.0.02 and higher the module to purchase from Infor is called ECM
(Electronic Commerce). This module is a little more sophisticated than the
older EDIPath and offers many more transactions as part of the base offering.
Enhancements or new interfaces are easy to create through use of built-in
adaptors and functions.

Is there a system available that handles EDI transmissions and HONDA EDI
requirements and integrates efficiently with BPCS order entry/order
fulfillment? Just asking the question to see if at some point in the
future it is worth having this discussion with management.

Thank you
