Roy,
The solution is not in a variable lead time but in the lead time rate
field in the item master on the Demand screen (INV100D2-03). This is
supported in v6.0.04 but may also be supported in other versions that I'm
not familiar with.
The calculation for lead time, if there is a non-zero value in this field
would be as follows;
Total Lead Time = (Order Quantity / Daily Lead Time Rate) + Lead Time
Days.
Basically this field tells BPCS how many pieces your supplier can produce
in a day.
We have not FULLY tested whether or not this actually works.

Afternoon
Anyone aware of BPCS supporting variable lead times - lead times based on
volumes - rather than a fixed lead time?
If so do you recall with which release this support was effective?
