Re: Converting AS/400 files to ASCII

We use IBM iSeries Access (or Client Access as it used to be called) as our
green screen emulator and it has a function to download files in various
formats including ASCII.

The function is called "Receive files from host" on the menu bar.

Just as with Query, you can set selection filters to pull out just the data
you want.

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know of a tool or utility that will allow me to convert AS/400
files to ASCII?  I want to FTP these files to another System, unknown type
at this time, and they need it in ASCII format.
