I'm trying to understand the pourpose of buffer in/out warehouses and buffer
in/out locations. We have currently defined a warehouse for each facility to
track all the material (finish product, semiworked products, raw materials,
exc.) that is our own property but is physically stocked out of the plant.

Are the buffer in/out warehouses the right field to be used to this pourpose
and are buffer in/out locations of a wkc representing an external operation
to be used in the same way as from/to locations of a normal wkc?

Thanks all
