Hi, Is the following correct about Horizon Days : 1) While setting-up Horizon Days for each item, the assumption is that ALL the items in BOM structure are having 'ZERO' stock or inventory. i.e. a starting point. 2) For Level 0 item i.e. Finished Product, the horizon days = Cummulative Lead Time for that item i.e. Cumulative Lead Time of complete BOM. 3) For any other Level, the horizon days for the item are set at Cumulative Lead Time from that Level Downwards till the bottom of BOM. i.e. If there are say 7 level BOM structure starting from top Level 0 (Finished Product), level 1,2,3,4,5,6. So, for any Item at say Level 3, the horizon days are set equal to the cumulative lead time upto Level 3 i.e. Level 3 to Level 6 (Planning Start Date), for Level 4 items, it is set at Cumulative Lead Time upto level 4 starting from level 6 (planning start date) & so on, am I right ? 4) While deciding cummulative lead time at any level, it is the longest lead time out of All items at that level, am I right ? 5) When we talk about Lead Time, it is the time to make that item (for manufactured items) assuming that ALL the next level items are ready, i.e. all it's ingredients or child items are ready for use, Am I right ?? Is horizon days related to Time Fence. If so, how ? Regards, Prashanth
