Sue, There are BMR's that you will need for V5R3M0. The BMR's fix the embedded SQL statements. I recommend that you have the BMR's ready to install BEFORE you upgrade. -----Original Message----- From: bpcs-l-bounces+dsweeney=phoenixbcinc.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bpcs-l-bounces+dsweeney=phoenixbcinc.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Sue Wyatt Sent: Tuesday, June 07, 2005 1:43 PM To: bpcs-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Cc: Ajish Jose Subject: [BPCS-L] RE: BPCS-L Digest, Vol 3, Issue 122 We are on BPSC version 6.04 since July 1999 cum. We are currently running on OS-V5R1. We are planning to move to OS V5R3, and we do not have the BPCS Maintenance. Are there any known problems for this OS upgrade in AS 400? Update: on Allocations not working (washburnccinc@xxxxxxx) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- message: 1 date: Tue, 07 Jun 2005 11:00:05 -0400 from: washburnccinc@xxxxxxx subject: [BPCS-L] Update: on Allocations not working I just wanted to update the list on the question I posted last week about our Allocations issue. One day all the Allocations stopped working. What we found is that one of the programmers created a bunch of ILM Location Master records with an SQL outside the regular maintenance program. He was trying to save the users the work because aprox. 10,000 locations were needed to be entered. The problem occured when the field "Location Usage" was set to blanks and the maintenance screen list the valid values as 0, 1, or 2. As soon as we set all the newly created records to a valid value all the allocations started working again. Just wanted to let people know. Thanks Kevin W. ------------------------------
