We are on V405 CD which may not be applicable to what you looking for.

Our steps are:

Order Entry

Shipping Picks whatever and there are two documents that go with the trucker
ORD595 Bill of Lading
ORD596 Packing List

The "B" record in ITH gets written by the shipping

We have modified the appearance of both reports from what came with BPCS
We added ship class (type of merchandise ... info for the delivery company)
We show address from which the shipment came (multi-facility)
There can be description field over-rides

There are a bunch of fields in ECL customer order lines that show status of order as it walks through the process of being selected for shipping
so you can list order lines that have been picked but not yet confirmed, for example

We run a bunch of queries off of BBL and other files, to final check stuff like pricing and profit center, making last minute corrections where called for
MPN = Notes associated with Engineering
ESN = Notes associated with Orders
ESP = Special Pricing
other ES* files contain the trucker info /// ESH ESL
EC* files have the original customer orders

Invoicing

We also have shipping history inquiries off of the invoice line item records in SIL file sometime linked to SIH header

   Hi,

BPCS Version 6.0.02. Currently we are using order class 007 i.e.; two
steps 1) Order Entry 2) Invoicing, but now I have a requirement to print
Pick Slip and Delivery Note. I have tried with order class 002 & 001 both
doesn*t print delivery Note. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

   Thanks
