If you know your G/L account numbers then the payables report (ACP2??) will give you the outstanding A/P to match. If you have various A/P liability G/L accounts then you will need to summarise otherwise APH (payables header) holds the outstanding base amount (ABCOUT) of each invoice and AMH (payment header) will hold any unallocated payments. The problem isn't finding out how much is owed per se but to what accounts they have been posted to for matching against G/L. Query can help (using APH/AMH and ATY - for G/L account retrieval) to match against G/L. If vendor types (ATY) have been changed then it may be difficult to match to G/L.
