ECM and Extol - EDI Resource

We are bpcs 6.0.04 heavily modified.

We do between 500 - 2800 orders a day through ecm...and need to speed this up. 
We have already modified ECM to handle both the inbound and outbound at the 
same time. We have tuned the logicals to speed things along and have tried to 
pare down the amount of history we keep in order entry....we are batch posting 
ord700; but I think we post directly through ECM (no batch job is spawned).

We are having a bottleneck in the ORD7xx process and need to 
tune/rewrite/modify/. 

I need someone who has ECM and as/set experience. Extol mapping is a huge plus.
