The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Sorry I haven't responded sooner.
me too
I checked the mods we have for our similar situation.
We have only a few facilities ... first character of warehouse is the
facility it is
second character is what TYPE of stuff is there.
so Warehouse 21 is facility-2 type-1 (Finished Goods) Allocatable Netable
and Warehouse 22 is facility-2 type-2 (WIP) Allocatable Netable
Warehouse x7 for raw material stock room x9 for QC problems awaiting
inspection disposition
This means that FG manufactured into 21 41 etc.
need to consume their sub-components from 22 42 etc.
The first time an item makes it into MPS MRP for planning purposes
it is planned in warehouse x2 which is valid for 80% of our items
but when the item is an end item, it needs to be planned for shipping
warehouse x1
Before MRP500 600 CAP etc.
we run this program that checks items in CIC (Item Facility Planning File)
If the corresponding item type in IIM is '1'
use CIC.ICFAC (facility) to dictate CIC.ICPLN (Planned Warehouse)
Likewise if there is a KFP (MRP planning record)
with corresponding item type in IIM of '1'
use KFP.FPFAC (facility) to dictate FFP.FWHSE
When labor is reported via JIT600 another adjustment is needed
but just for the WORK member corresponding to FLT VLA WSID so it does not
get mucked up with multiple users concurrent labor batches
we have a default warehouse location combination for each facility
the VLA.LAORD (shop order) accesses FSO to get the FSO.SOFAC (facility) to
get at our default warehouse location combination corresponding to that
facility and plug that back into VLA LACWHS LACLOC
