Mark, I'm curious as to why you are selecting 6.1.2 as your upgrade path! We are also on 6.02 however my preferred option is to go current (at this time). Any reason in particular you are selecting 6.1? Easier path? Thanks, Mark Knorr Cytec Industries Inc. -----Original Message----- From: Richards, Mark [mailto:richarma@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, September 30, 2003 9:00 AM To: BPCS L (bpcs-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx) Subject: CIM & 6.1 We are 6.0.2MM converting to 6.1.2 later this fall. We purchased CIM in the past but did not use it. We are looking at using it on 6.1 for a requirement to inbound shipments and adjustments. I have compiled CIM objects, etc. At one point a few weeks ago, we had an issue in 6.0.2 where the system wanted to print bar codes on the shop packets (our 6.0.2 test environment is no longer available). The flag in SSASYS data area was the culprit. I planned on reviewing and addressing this issue in 6.1.2. However, while testing in our 6.1.2 environment I can not duplicate the original error. Does anyone know why this error may not be occurring in 6.1? No SMG comments please ... with a price tag of 50K and a different strategy from SSA (Enterprise Integrators) on 8.2 this is not a viable option.
