First of all, I'm a P/A, not a user, although in a small company, you certainly have to know the user side of the business as well as the technical side. So temper my input in that light. My director and I went to the first one two years ago in Boca Raton. To be honest, I doubt either of us will go again. It was mostly a rah-rah session on how well SSA-GT was doing after nearly going under as SSA. The food was great and drink flowed freely, but the only really good information either of us got from the time came out of the MMS (nee ELKE, now EAM) user's group meeting. Georgeann Bianchi, who wrote much of the MMS code, was on hand to explain upcoming enhancements and ask for input. Unless the Forum turns into more of a COMMON type educational experience, where users or techies can get some real hands-on experience with the updated product, we won't attend.
