you can generally display what programs each user has access to by looking at the user security settings. i was interested in knowing which users could access a specific bpcs program. (ie who could do INV500 transactions, etc). so i wrote a program that scans the BPCS menu and security files and produces such a report. it lists each program in the menus and then lists the users that have access to the program. the intent was to perform periodic audits to verify that the proper users had the proper access. if this is what you are interested in i could email the program. It was written for version 6.0.04. (disclaimer time - it works for what we wanted to do. i make no representation as to the elegance of the programing code.) chick doe prime measurement systems >>> anton.lopez-krall@xxxxxxx 07/24/03 09:40AM >>> Guys.. Is there a way or a tool to get all the security related permission on BPCS? Im trying to find out to what pgms each user has access (like parsing the zsc file) and also, to what external programs they have access thru menu maintenance/aditional menus/not core menus? Is there such a toold for this or a way to get a compelte report as to what a user has access to or a reports that shows who has access to each program?
