Dennis - How is everything? We have not had this problem in 6.1, can't remember 6.0 honestly. We have a couple customers in Clinton where they hard allocate specific lots for customer order lines, and I ran a query to see if we have any lines that are shipped with open allocations. None at all, with a couple thousand shipments. I do have a question for you - do they ever move INV510 T transaction - after allocation but before shipping? I seem to remember allocations stay with a location and it could be a problem. Let me know if you want - either way, see you at the user group! -----Original Message----- From: Dennis Basiner [SMTP:dbasiner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, May 19, 2003 10:58 AM To: BPCS MIDRANGE Subject: Lot control Hi, We are on BPCS 6.04 July99 cum and have implemented lot control. We are starting to have problems with hard allocations not going away when lot controlled items are invoiced. Does anyone have any similar experiences (or other) ? We are planning to upgrade to 6.1 but not for a few months. Regards, Dennis Basiner Manager, Information Systems Cains Foods L.P.
