RE: Global costing in a multi-facility

I think my people would be extremely pleased if there was a way to do Standard Costing by Global with Actual Costing by Facility, because we spend a lot of time doing adjustments to make the Standard the same for all facilities for 99% of our items. But I do not believe that is an option ... it is either Global for all items and cost types, or by Facility for them all.

It has been a while but I am pretty sure you just setup the Cost Master records (CMF file) with no facility specified then it will use that cost accross all facilities. Unless you have the same Item/set/etc. setup with a facility also then it will use that Cost.
