We do not have OGS with SSA and there have been other modifications within
this module in the past. I was wholly expecting the result to be that a
modification/fix would be required but just wanted to check others
experiences.

I agree, it sounds like a bug in that program. Have you checked for a fix
for it?

Subject: Multiple Location Picking

We are using BPCS version 3.0.3 and are looking to improve some processes in
our warehouse.

Previously we stocked 1 item in 1 location but now need to stock 1 item in
multiple locations. The issue we have found is that if, for example :

Item A has a total stock qty of 10, of which 5 are in location SL1 and 5 are
in location SL2. An order is then enter for 8 with 5 being allocated from
location SL1 and 3 from location SL2. When the Picking List is printed, it
shows the item on a single line, with a qty of 8 and then 2 locations.
However the 2 locations shown are in fact the same location, SL1. Location
SL2 is not shown on the Picking List.

This sounds to me like a modification is required to the program, but I was
wondering if anyone else had experienced the same problem and found a simple
solution?

Regards,

Alan Goggin
