BPCS support of multiple revisions -- BPCS-L

Does BPCS have the capability to support multiple revisions of an item at
the same time.
Example, new revision/ Engineering change, we want to Purchasing and
Planning to go off of the new revision.
Manufacturing and shipping will still be dealing with the old revision.
We are on 6.101 and have not implemented the Engineering Change Management
module.
