Chick:

Pricing is applied to each line based on the quantity ordered. In your
example, you are breaking the Ordered Quantity into two (2) deliveries so
BPCS is pricing each line separately and therefore at the higher price.

You could use the following procedure to accomplish what you would like:

1. Enter a P.O. Line for the total quantity so that the desired price break
will be applied.

2. Use the Copy Line Action to create a 2nd line. The price from the first
line will be used.

3. Reduce the Quantity on each line to the correct amount and change the Due
Dates on the 2nd line. As long as you do not select to reprice the P.O.
Lines, the original price should be retained.

This procedure is somewhat cumbersome, but it does allow you to achieve the
desired results.

What you are looking for is a capability that would sum the Total Quantity
for multiple Lines for the same Item and use the Total Quantity to price each
line. A similar requirement might be to sum the Total Quantity for like
Items (e.g. Item Class, etc.) and apply a group price. A modification might
be considered to provide this feature.

If you have any further questions, you can contact me off-line.

Thanks.
