In BPCSCD INV600 you can F14 add Manual tags. BPCS will verify
Location#, not allow duplicate tag#'s, you can only have one tag per
item in a given location ( you may have to combine Quantity if you have
large locations and end up with 2 tags in same location for same item.)
These are put into file IPH.
Tag listings (INV720) (INV740) (INV750) (INV760) (INV770) will give
you a variety of reports.

INV650 - will post 'O' type transactions and reference tag number in the
comments in ITH. This transaction can be viewed in INV300. This is a
good reference to check against when production goes live. This will
create opening balance at Location, Warehouse, and Item Master files.

We would like use to the BPCS Inventory programme to carry over our stock
from our old system to bpcs which becomes our new system in August. We are
moving from a non-location warehouse to a live location warehouse. We
thought we could use BPCS "Physical Inventory" process to create TAG's for
warehouse personnel to count from but it seems to print them by item then
location. What we would like to see is the tag by location so that count is
completed by location that way no stock can be missed. Anybody got ideas?
Could we create our own tags? Would BPCS accept them?
