Welcome aboard. We are on release 6.1, but ended up building precisely what you are trying to do. We track the dates an order was taken off of credit hold for service level reporting by tapping into the credit release function. We have had no reason to try to narrow the scope of credit release because that is done centrally ... -----Original Message----- From: DeeDee Virgei [mailto:DeeDee.Virgei@nelsonstud.com] Sent: Thursday, November 15, 2001 2:29 PM To: 'BPCS-L@midrange.com' Subject: (no subject) Hi Everyone, Just looking for suggestions; we are on BPCS CD, looking for a way to track by users what customer orders they took off of credit hold the previous night and also limit a user to a dollar amount when releasing customers from credit hold. Reason being, we are in Ohio w/ warehouses - that have access to BPCS - in California. We need to give someone on the west coast quasi access to "Credit Hold Release". I couldn't find anything in the archive files... I was also wondering if SSA/GT handles tracking and limiting "Credit Hold Release" security in BPCS 6 or 8. DeeDee Virgei Nelson Stud Welding, Inc. PS I just stumbled upon this user group a couple months ago and we've had BPCS for 10 years now. What a great group! Wish I joined sooner! _______________________________________________ This is the SSA's BPCS ERP System (BPCS-L) mailing list To post a message email: BPCS-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/bpcs-l or email: BPCS-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/bpcs-l.
