Book level security is one of the many enhancements added to BPCS in version
8.0.00.
It will do exactly what you specify below. The enhancement includes event
processing,
book maintenance, inquiries, reports, and FRW downloads.

CEA security in v6.1.01 is limited to chart and segment level.

Subject: BPCS CEA, 6.1.01, Ledger & Book security?

Hello!!!

We are using BPCS 6.1.01 Mix mode on AS400.
In CEA, we are using two ledgers (LedgerA & LedgerB),
Each ledger has two books (Actual book & Budget Book).
We want our USERA1 to work ONLY on ledger A, Actual
Book, user 2 to ledger A,budget book. Similarly user 3
and user4 to ledgerB, actual and budget book
respectively.

Is there any way to control user access on ledger and
book level??

Thanks for any response!!!
