Although no one can predict the future ( if we could I'm sure there would be many more lottery winners), I think is was President Truman who said " if you want to know the future read your history". In my career in the software industry I have had three jobs in 17 years, with my latest position being that of CEO of SSAGT. I am a pragmatic and decisive leader with a demonstrable record of service and achievement. I intend to rebuild the BPCS brand through hard work and listening to our customers. I invite all of you to come to the conference to hear what our product strategy is and how we are investing the OGS development dollars. I can't change the fact that there have been 5 other CEO's in the last few years, but I can tell you this, there is a new sheriff in town and things are changing. Come on down to Boca, I think you will get your money's worth if not, deduct the $895 from your next OGS invoice! And I will be there in 2002 as well. Travel budgets and expenses are tight at most companies because of the economy, and with APICS and Commons coming up shortly after this meeting we can't be everywhere. When I look back at the past and what we were told, the decision whether to come or not becomes an easy one: 1997 - Roger Covey 1998 - Bill Stuek 1999 - Bob Carpenter 2000 - Vic Shepherd 2001 - Mike Greenough 2002 - ??? Please let me know who it will be in 2002 so I can put it in my schedule. T. Saparano
