There is an IBM informational APAR which is maintained jointly by IBM Software
Support and SSA Helpline which lists recommended PTFs and tips for running BPCS
on various OS400 release levels. This includes V4R5. The informational APAR is
II11801. It can either be viewed on-line via the web, or ordered through ECS on
the AS/400 just like a PTF. This contains relevant information.

Subject: Growing BPCS Object Sizes

We are just upgraded our operating system to ver 4.5 from 4.4 and now we
are experiencing problems with the sizes of the program objects growing.

I know there was a similar problem with version 4.4 and we had to apply a
PTF, can anyone please supply me with the PTF number for version 4.5
