I specifically asked SSA  GT about this several months ago with respect to 
405 CD
I supplied them with a list of the IBM commands that will be returning longer 
list ... there's some IBM command you can run, I forget now what, that lists 
all the source programs that use the commands that you interested in & it was 
gazzillion pages.

Anyhow SSA GT explained that while BPCS uses those commands, they are not 
used FOR THAT PURPOSE, instead, the library list information comes from a 
BPCS data area or job description or some such area that is not affected by 
this IBM change, so no harm no risk from that scenario.

I guess the situation might be different for V6 or V8 depending on how 
rewrites occurred.
