GHH – Journal History
GLH – Journal History Line
GLA – Journal Line Analysis History File
GNH – Journal Header/Line Notes
GXR – Subsystem Cross Reference
GBH – Batch Header
GBL – Batch Line
GSB – Account Balances
GCR – Account Cross Reference
GSX – Report year-to-date Account balances
So far the only file that I am having problems with is the GCR file since I can only use the internal account number and this number is used accross periods and years which is not in the GCR file.

Subject: Purging data from General Ledger files?
As our GXR file is approaching 3 gig and we've only been on BPCS 18 months, our system administrator is asking what can be done to reduce this size of this.
SSA Product Knowledge FAQ says "There is no reference material available as there are no programs to purge data from the CEA General Ledger files."
Does anyone have any experience with this or know a third party application that would purge or archive general ledger data?
Best Regards,
