This sounds like you should speak with whoever your SSA representative is &
make sure you have ALL of the documents that are available to you from SSA,
including some kind of directory. A ton of them come with each version of
BPCS & with each related software product, such as AS/Set and the conversion
utilities for clients who need to migrate from one version to another version
of BPCS.

A reason for the directory is that some BPCS documents get superceded by
others of slightly different name, and often references to old name are not
updated, so you can be pointed by one BPCS document at some other one that
has been superceded. Once you have your own list of all documents & growing
info on replacements, you can update it with indexing as to what documents
essential for what realities & which have in fact been superceded.

You might also take a look into BPCS_L archives for various posts I & others
have made about non-SSA documentation on BPCS such as the IBM Redbook on
AS/400 performance for BPCS, the DSL Programmer's Reference Guide for BPCS,
the UPI Manuals on various aspects of BPCS Education such as the Guide to
BPCS for Auditors, newsletters from various places about BPCS ... last 2
years worth can be downloaded from the NexGen site for example.

Make sure you also know how to find the BPCS on-line documentation. It is
not of high indexed quality, but the logic guide (ours is called SSALOG00 &
you could locate what library it is in via WRKOBJ BPCSDOC) may answer your
second question.
