Hi, Al...I've been out of BPCS for two weeks already..... got a new job who
doesn't have BPCS as ERP.....sad to say....but any way....as far as I can
remember....function 14 or F14 within BPCS will lead you to window which
will give you an option to go to the defined menus in BPCS. From there, I
believe you can get rid of the menus you want to eliminate. By the way, I am
talk about version 6.04 of BPCS. I know you're in version 4.0 CD of BPCS.
Don't know if they are the same. Or else you can get rid the records from
ZMA, ZMM and I forgot the rest. If I'd be in front of as/400 with BPCS as
one of the software package, I would do WRKOBJ ZM* to determine which files
contains the menus and the user relating to a certain menu......

I still be reading BPCS forums dispite that I am out of BPCS. May be it will
help me remember BPCS still. Who knows I might encounter BPCS in the future.

Jessie

How do we de-activate user menus?
Is that the same as "deleting" them?

A co-worker accidentally de-activated one & we stumbled through
re-activating
it, but we not know right process & have some we do want to say goodbye to.

And how about the menus that are inactive ... how do we get rid of them?
Is there some menu reorg option I am missing?

We were updating one of the BPCS Run Instruction Guides to add reference to
query programs we had added for that application & accidentally deleted it
... well we got it restored from the last backup. Menus must use some other
naming convention because WRKOBJ & name of a menu is nothing.
