Hi Oludare,

We are currently on 6.0.02 March 98 Cum OS400 V4R4M0. We have installed,
and use almost all the modules.

We have installed 6.1.01 and converted to it several times now on a
development box. We have followed the instructions included with the CD's.
The instructions are VERY simple. It ends up basically being just a couple
of commands then you wait a few hours and you're done! Our in-house
written programs are taking much more effort. The 6.1.01 upgrade is VERY
easy so my recommendation is to follow it. It's very little work for you.

Subject: BPCS CONVERSION OR NEW INSTALL

Hello guys,

I'm on BPCS 6.0.02 Jan 98 Cum, OS400 V4R3M0 current Cum.

This is a BPCS install question. Is it possible to install BPCS 6.1.01 in a
new environment then copy all BPCS files from 6.0.02 with *MAP *DROP into
6.1.01 file library. I thought this will be a cleaner install than
converting 6.0.02 to 6.1.01

Oludare
