The "1S" status will lock the FLT record while it is posting. If something interrupts the process while posting, the record will stay locked with the "1S" status. In the UNIX environment 6.0.04, we found 2 primary reasons for this: 1. When you display/view an FLT record in SFC650, Unix locks the entire file. Not just a line lock. With the entire file locked the posting program will timeout and leave the record locked. 2. When setting up a new workstation or re-installing BPCS on a workstation, we sometimes missed setting the workstation settings. We did not have a default job queue, without a default job queue the FLT records locked and remained locked. I hope this helps. Just have a question about a field LTSTS (Current Status Code) in FLT (Labor Ticket History) file. "Blank" represents unposted. "P" indicates posted. What does the status "1S" represent? Thanks for any response. Jessie _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
