"Carpe Manana" - before tomorrow seizes you !! Let us look at the situation positively and get in inputs so that at the end we all can have a peaceful life with the organisation we work for ( it has to survive efficiently!!) and of course the family as well !! An inefficient or old fashioned IT system will surely take our organisation towards chapter 11. Let us say if SSA GA is coming out with the new version 8. What would we like it to look like, including platforms, hardware, screens, software etc etc........Brain storming????????? Do you think the inputs we all can pour in will help all of us so that we make BPCS more efficient and humming? To Quote " You may deny an employee his/her increment, You may deny an employee his/her promotion, But you can never, you can never ever, deny an employee his/her right to work efficiently!! We need some thing which the " front end employees" ( not computer tecs), love it and the computer tecs do not have to battle with day to day operations, but, spend their resources to make the business more efficient towards the 21st century. The margins are going to be wafer thin if not already. It is the business which drives the system and not Vice Versa. Now the world is not just USA it the whole Globe!! Am I sounding weird??
