In SYS800, MRP and Shop Floor System Parameters. If the "Multiple Issue from " flag is turn to "S", multiple issues from INV500, such as the ones which take place with the "J" transaction, or "MR" transaction for that matter, will use the MDM (BOM) file to retrieve the formula and issue the corresponding materials. It can not issue materials that are lot controlled. If all your components in the BOM are lot controlled, and your "Multiple Issue from " flag is turn to "S", when you try to do a "J" transaction it wont find any components that it can issue and it will therefore return you the "No eligible components found for multiple issue transaction" message. If you have components that are lot controlled, you must issue them separately, entering the actual lot(s) being issued. Another solution would be to change the "Multiple Issue from " flag to "L" and allocate your components. However WATCH IT, if the "Multiple Issue from " flag is turn to "L", BPCS goes to the allocations file to retrieve the components to be issued and the quantities, therefore those components that have not been allocated will not come up.
