And I don't believe that the prognosis improved to 6.04, commodity codes are 
the vehicle and it doesn't make the journey very pleasant.  You can have some 
serious fun with commodity code development in accordance with SIC or NAICS[?] 
conventions but you'll still wind up with a generic record that doesn't lend 
itself to even the simple matter of quotation management.

How do other 4.05 CD users handle MRO purchasing?? 
Use commodity codes in purchasing module?
It certainly seems cumbersome.
