The old financial system in pre V5.2 BPCS is not the same as CEA.  If you 
follow the CEA Configuration Guide you can implement CEA to exactly mimic what 
the old GLD did.  The things you have to watch out for is that the GL 
distribution from subsystems is no longer kept in the subsystem files.  Special 
reports need to be created to show this information.

The purpose of CEA is the flexability to not have to do your accounting the way 
SSA designed it in GLD.  This takes forethought and malice to accomplish.  Many 
things can be improved with some thought into the design of how the subsytems 
will post entries into CEA.  The majority of the work on a CEA implementation 
is the design process, not the actually keystrokes to set up the system.
