Popular naming conventions here are:
3 alpha initials of user then 001 002 003 etc. for their sessions;
1 letter for physical site city, then 2-4 letters for department such as 
ACounting BUY (Purchasing), then 2 unique letters or digits, so that by 
looking at the work station address we can see at a glance where it is in our 
facilities
