  • Subject: Re: ORD570 lock ups ---- whoops! Correction

Hello,

Thanks to a reminder from Mark Shank, I have realized that the attached
posting from me yesterday was WRONG! I forgot that some of the Order
processing programs on 6.0.02 did run throught the 'thin client' or OPS
interface, not just the DFS 'fat client' one. Sorry about that. . .

Therefore, the OPS Service Pack for the PC Client runtime software might
help to reduce problems with geniune PC Lockups, if it is indeed the problem
described under BMR43360. In that case, rather than working with the Supply
Chain Helpline, if you are on Full C/S BPCS and are having problems as
described under that BMR, contact the PC Technical Helpline at SSA for
assistance.

However, it is always best to rule out all types of problems before assuming
it is covered by BMR43360, and if you have full work files, you will only
speed processing of your programs by clearing the files mentioned in the
other postings on this subject line.

Thanks,

Genyphyr Novak
SSA
