Watch it!!! If you allocate materials to shop orders, and don't issue all of it, you must clear the allocations BEFORE closing the shop order (running SFC900 or CST900). If you don't, you wont be able to deallocate the materials once the shop order is closed and the materials will stay unavailable for ever and ever even though you are not going to use that material. To delete allocations you can go to SFC720, or you can issue all your materials at standard and then do a reverse issue (issue negative qty.) for the items not used as you return them to inventory and you can then put the location/lot/container code where you are putting them back.
