When you kicked out ECM did you replace it with another product or write your own interface to BPCS. We eventually kicked it out as it was so slow - approx 36 hours to process 500 orders - even whilst running on a dedicated machine overnight. I believe that ECM is straight order entry without the screens (plus the adapters of course). We could not get any help from SSA. Good luck! bjarman@focalsystems.com.au on 02/07/2000 04:38:07 AM Please respond to BPCS-L@midrange.com To: BPCS-L@midrange.com cc: (bcc: Rosalie Ducasse/ITS/Omnia Group) Fax to: Subject: Re: BPCS Users List Guidelines Would be interested in feedback on the following. 1. Details of BPCS users receiving and acknowledging customer orders via EDI. 2. For those doing this are you using ECM or EDIPath for mapping to and from BPCS. 3. If not are there any other products similar to ECM & EDIPath being used for this purpose. 4. If you are using ECM do you process against the online day (ie. while other staff are entering orders online to BPCS) and if so does this cause any problems. +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +--- +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +---
