405 CD on OS4 V4r3 ITH is the file with inventory history & it can be a humongous file but volume of transactions on any one item filter combination should be reasonable Is the delay consistent all connected devices ... twinax local, PCs local, remotes? Is it consistent all items ... those with lots of activity & those with very little? Although you did not knowingly do anything, we sometimes have problems when some new manager makes changes to settings in SYS800 or General Ledger without proper education in the consequences of such actions. May I presume that you do regular reorgs both BPCS & IBM, so as to purge your system of deleted records that BPCS does not automatically clean up?
