** High Priority **

Let me tell you what is Y status.

Y Status occurs when does a soft close
XX is the status when you manually do shop order close (hard close).

What is hard close and soft close is explained below.

Hard close :

If shop order is closed manually ie., with F16 command, then status will change
as XX

Soft close :

If system recognizes that the job is completed , then system change status as
Y.

Under two conditions , system will identify as Shop Order completed.

1) During the Quantity and hours reporting in last operation of SO, if you say
operation completed, then system will do soft close.
2) If Shop order quantity received is more than or equal to Shop order Quantity

I Hope it is clear to you.

V6.004 - hope it's the same as in 6.002
Hi,
there are two status fields in FSO - SSTAT and SOSTS.
SSTAT is 1 char long, SOSTS 2 char.
First of them was in previous versions as well, SOSTS is new in v 6.
"Y" in SSTAT indicates that shop order could be normally closed by CST900 (or
SFC900) - i.e. it disappears during shop order close.

We're v6.0.02 Client/Server. FSO has a field SSTAT. I understand the
values 4, 5, and X. What's a Y?
