I have a slightly more prosaic way of doing this - I just modified the CL's
to create 'new' jobs to run off the scheduler. I got tired of messing with
it, and I honestly don't have the staff to fine-tune a lot of stuff.
Luckily, on 4.05CD we still have easy source to modify.

It is very messy - we have put a very small volume of BPCS 405 CD jobs on
the
IBM Job Scheduler - the same jobs can run off of the regular JOBQ from a
menu
- the same jobs can run on-line from a menu - there is also a live version
of
this & a test version of some of these before we get all the kinks out, then
when we try to modify it further. When testing, I add the test library to
my
library list then GO CMDSCDE & launch IBM job scheduler interactively.

When the job arrives from the IBM Job Scheduler it does not have a work
station or BPCS library list or all the rest, but it belongs to some user,
so
instead of work station we use first few characters of user name, but first
have to determine if we have a library list, which means it came from
regular
menu, or if it has the test library in the list, which means I do not want
to
over-ride it with library list from BPCSMENU CL steps. If we want it to
work
from more than one environment that also complicates things because we have
files in separate libraries but use shared libraries for the software.

I think I need a standard CL to call to setup all the environment stuff that
BPCSMENU has, so when the CL determines that it does not have the BPCS
stuff,
so that it must have come from the Job Scheduler, or some other submit job,
then it would just call the standard CL, thus making life easier for me the
next BPCS job I want to setup this way.
