Hello,

You don't say if you are Client Server or Mixed Mode and that makes a
difference. Also, you don't mention if you are trying to use TCP/IP or APPC
connections and which program icon you are trying to start. In V6.0.02 Mixed
Mode and Client Server first generation programs the TCP/IP support was done
via a special installation tape with a library called MMTCP on it, so you
can't use that function without the special enablement tape. This had its
own instructions and included how to start the daemon. Base 6.0.02 Mixed
Mode and base 6.0.02 Client Server first generation programs (ORD, OLM, CEA)
were only shipped to use APPC connections. If you use APPC you don't have a
daemon to worry about starting.

How did you know what settings to put on your PC Workstation settings?

This sort of problem has many many many possible causes, and is usually
faster handled by calling the SSA HelpLine if you have support.

Thanks

Genyphyr Novak
