  • Subject: resupply order return

Hello all,

We are presently using 6.0.04 double-byte BPCS.

My question is does anyone know how to process a return (RMA) for a resupply
order. We currently have both mills and sales companies as facilities with
their own warehouses under one company on BPCS. The mills sell to the sales
companies through resupply orders, order type 9 class 4. We have set up the
DRP relationships between the warehouses and the items, etc. There are no
problems in processing orders, but our warehouse has inadvertently confirmed
a resupply order they cannot fulfill. Now we cannot get the return process
for a resupply order to work. The problem occurs on the second step of an
RMA where the RMA is copied to an order. It will not permit a type 9.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this work? I have had
little success resolving this issue with the SSA Helpdesk.

Many Thanks,

Barry
