  • Subject: PO consolidation on a weekly base.

Dear all.

My name is Roel Bakker, Production Planner and Material Controller at
Mitsubishi Equipment Europe B.V. Air-conditioning Division.
On 15th October 199 we went live with BPCS V6.1.

I have one problem with PO consolidation: Our procurement strategy is
the release purchase orders once a week, with a due /delivery date of
also once a week. However BPCS PO consolidation (info supplied by MRP)
suggest PO on each working day in a week. Off course it is possible to
change the request date but my question is: is it possible to have a
fixed due date per week?
I was informed that this could be solved with shipping patterns
(PUR161) after setting up week / date X-reference (PUR155) but I do
not think this is the solution.

All info is welcome.

Thanks,

Roel.
